Well back up north now.  Time for renewal and new ideas.  The studio is in total chaos so I guess it is time to purge and start again.  lots of ideas to explore.  Looking forward to a shibori class at Port Fiber in Portland.

Getting started

Now is probably not the best time to start this, but I am inspired by others. Susan Conaway, Beth Berman, Jude Hill, Then We Set It On Fire, to Name a few.  I tend to jump from one thing to another, but somehow most of them connect.

This is the beginning of a piece that totally morphed into something unplanned.  I was attempting to use some hand dyed fabric to create fields with stone walls.  The colors represent the four seasons, but it looked flat.  thus began the evolution of window seat.
